| 4 Star, Superior First Class Traditional Hotel
This hotel enjoys a prime location opposite Zurich's main station at the end of the famous Bahnhofstrasse, one of Europe's most prestigious shopping and business streets.
The rooms vary a little in size, but the smallest are medium sized and the largest very large. They are in absolutely exceptional condition, having been comprehensively renovated using nothing but the finest materials. The decor is traditional. One might worry that the hotel's central location might mean that it's a little noisy, but sate of the art triple glazing in the airconditioned bedrooms soon puts paid to any concerns. The rooms are truly tranquil!
The restaurant is located on the first floor overlooking Bahnhofplatz and the elegant facade of the station. The decor is traditional and again furnishings are of the highest quality.
The stone facade of the hotel is solid but elegant as is much of Zurich's traditional architecture. The lobby is small but grand with a polished marble floor, chandeliers and a small seating area with comfortable leather sofas.
The is one of the finest hotels in a city not short of high class accomodation. The rooms especially stand out as some of the best in town. Highly recommended! |
