| 4 Star, First Class Modern Hotel
The hotel is located roughly 2 kilometres from the city centre but there is regular public transport to the city centre and station which takes 10 minutes. The hotel faces lake Lucerne and mount Pilatus.
The rooms are small to medium sized and traditional in style with slightly old-fashioned furniture and bathrooms. Both rooms and bathrooms were however, built using high quality materials and are consequently in good condition despite their age.
The hotel has an excellent reputation for fine dining and its restaurants are popular with guests and locals alike.
This hotel actually consists of three buildings of varying ages connected together. The two buildings on the left of the central lobby are elegant and traditional whilst that on the right is a rather more plain '60's or 70's built block. The lobby area is housed in a state-of-the-art modern section. The lobby is large, sleek and ultra-modern with a dark stone floor and subtle lighting.
Although not centrally located this hotel is in a pretty and practical setting enjoying super views whilst being just a short drive from the middle of Lucerne. |
