The hotel enjoys an exceptionally central location in the heart of Lausanne's shopping district. It is only minutes from the lake front.
The large hotel rooms are all individually styled. The rooms have all been refurbished and whilst they manage to maintain a traditional feel to them, they offer guests the latest in modern conveniences. Subtle colours have been used to decorate the rooms in a comfortable and charming style. All rooms are in excellent condition, as are the bathrooms.
The hotel has a French restaurant which serves a very good level of gastronomic cuisine. There also is good quality cafe serving light meals.
The exterior of the hotel is very grand and traditional in style. The building has been kept in pristine condition and is most attractive. The very large lobby reflects the style at the turn of the century. Elegant chandeliers, beautiful antique furniture and marble columns all combine to create a truly regal scene.
This property is constantly being updated, yet it manages to retain its traditional charm. The hotel is rightly renowned for its very modern and large spa area. |
