| 3 Star, Superior Tourist Class Traditional Hotel
The hotel is located about 10 minutes' walk from the centre of Interlaken in the peaceful suburb of Matten, next to the main road leading up to Grindelwald.
The rooms are simple but comfortably furnished in neutral style with pale colour schemes. They vary in size, but an average are only small. Both the rooms and the bathrooms are in very good condition.
The hotel restaurant is located next to the lobby. It has a window the full length of the front of the building overlooking the street. The decor is simple and rustic with heavy wooden tables and chairs. The restaurant is also very popular with the locals.
The hotel is a modern, rather featureless building. The lobby is small, with a pale wooden reception desk. This is a friendly and uncomplicated family-run hotel. |
